Is it summer?



Who would have believed we were bundling up just 2 days ago!?



It's HOT here today- in the low 90s. The kids are convinced every time it's above 80, that it's swimming weather. So, we gave in today and let them go swimming. The water was cool but they didn't seem to care too much.

We went to church in the morning and the kids were asking about swimming before we even started getting dressed this morning. After church, first thing they asked in the car was if they could go swimming... So, we made a yummy "summer" lunch of hamburgers/turkey burgers, baked beans, and macaroni salad and then got ready. Swim suits on and sunblock on.







Paige fell yesterday walking the dog and got a big scrape on her back (and a few mini ones in other places). She says it doesn't hurt too much, unless you touch it.


POOL TIME! Luckily we got new goggles for the big kids last week.







Even Kipper got into the fun of things. The kids had excluded him for the first half hour but the dog was having a very hard time being left out. So, eventually, they gave in and let him swim with them.
