On Sunday we were all still recovering from our illnesses (and still are), so we decided to not go to church. We had family time and went on a leaf hunt at a local park.

Paige found the biggest leaf.


Justin found a grasshopper.

We are all recovering from various colds.

Faith can stand up by herself now - I'm sure it's only a short amount of time before she's walking now.

PUMPKIN DAY

This week we went to the pumpkin patch. It was HOT and very sunny. For some reason this patch is always hotter than the rest of the area near us. The kids had lots of fun but were NOT in the mood for group pictures.









Their favorite part is the hay "maze" which is bales of hay that they can climb on and run around.







Justin takes picking pumpkins very seriously and will work hard at it.







Faithie

It's finally cooling off here.

Today we went to the air show and the kids had lots of fun. Luckily we were there before it got really crowded and it even rained a bit on us. Justin loved interviewing people :)

We went back to Carlsbad to hang out with my friend and the kids again on Thursday. They had so much fun together!

Faith loved the feel of the sand and splashing in the water... the big kids loved playing in the sand too!

We drove up to Carlsbad today to meet my friend Marisa from AZ who is on vaccation up there. I've not seen her for a few months and it's amazing how much her kids have grown.

Her girl and Paige are almost the same age and had a ton of fun together. I think they could get into serious trouble together.


The kids had a blast - after dinner we walked to the beach and were going to let them play in the sand... the kids had other ideas!








Faith kept trying to follow the "big" kids everywhere - she esp liked Jake- maybe b/c he was the closest to her size. At the beach she wanted down so badly. Finally I gave in and let her play with the sand.

Justin has been loving school and making new friends. There are some really nice boys in his class. On Monday afternoon we got together at the park to ride bikes. Not too many pictures since it's hard to get a bunch of boys together.


Faith and Paige were being cute - I was changing Faith and had to put her down. She kept following Paige and wanted to be next to her.
